Ideology

At GeekISP we understand that circumstances and needs change, and that there are many reasons you might want to stop your service. We'd like to make all efforts to separate peacefully so no party feels cheated. As a result, our refund policy can be summarized based on the age of your account and the remaining term of your contract.

• Accounts younger than 14 days are eligible to receive a full refund.
• Accounts older than 14 days are eligible for a prorated refund based on the remaining term of their contract.

Prorating
Prorated refunds will be granted for cancellations of accounts older than 14 days from the time of the initial payment. A prorated refund will not exceed 75% of the value of the remaining contract. The value of the remaining contract is determined by multiplying the dollar value of the contract by the percent of time still remaining. I.e. a $100 contract with 3 of 6 months remaining has a value of $50, and so a maximum prorated refund would be 37.50.

Exceptions
Certain promotions may have restrictions which would affect this policy - see the original promotion for details. Promotions with exceptions to this policy will be mentioned at the time of account creation. If you believe circumstances should grant you an exception, we are willing to make further exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
