Mail.app Setup Instructions
Previously we might have claimed that some other mail reader was the easiest to setup with our services.
We take it back, we can't imagine something simpler than Mail.app on Mac OS X. If you've got it, you'll probably
enjoy it. Just two screens and a bunch of info are between you and email bliss.
| (1) |
Open up mail.app (it lives in your Applications folder) and go to Preferences in under the
'Mail' menu. Click on 'Create Account'.
|
| (2) |
In this step you must fill in all the fields as I've shown here. Just follow my examples
and put your info instead of mine. Note that supplying your password is optional, you
can enter it later.
|
| (3) |
Click on over to the next tab at the top. The only required settings are the 'Enable this account'
and 'Use SSL'. Some options were on by default, so I left them.
|
| |
That was pretty easy, wasn't it? You should be up and running! As always, if you have problems,
send us an email at support@geekisp.com.
