How do I setup my new repository for use with Eclipse/Subclipse?

Setting up an empty repository is fairly simple. Eclipse expects inside the repository root 3 directories: branches, tags, and trunk. The steps are as follows:

1) Create New -> Other -> SVN project
Select the root of the SVN repository
Ignore the warning message about it not using tags,
branches or trunk
2) Create 3 new directories at the project root:
branches
tags
trunk
3) Team -> Commit
Be sure to UNCHECK all updates, except the 3 new directories.
4) Delete the Eclipse project
...and select the CHECKBOX to delete contents on local disk
5) Create New -> Other -> SVN project
select trunk

And you're ready to resume normal development.
